Call For Entries – Midwest Landscape Show – Deadline March 1 2008 – REGIONAL Artists
The Domont Studio Gallery in Indianapolis, IN, is accepting submissions of fine visual art for a June-July 2008 show celebrating the beauty of the Midwestern landscape. Submissions of CONTEMPORARY, NON-TRADITIONAL landscape paintings will be accepted. Submit through mail or e-mail up to 10 jpg. images of work within the past year. Also include a list of files with piece title, size, date, format, and price, as well as a biography and artist statement. $15 ENTRY FEE, if submitting by e-mail you must send your check for acceptance in the show though snail mail. Send a SASE if you’d like your items returned. Upon acceptance, artists will be responsible for delivery/pickup of work. ART FOR ALL 2008
Application Information
At ART FOR ALL, we share an art show vision. This art show is all about quality ART!
We are artists and business people who love art, respect other artists and enjoy working with and for artists. Our goal is to provide a dignified venue and juried artwork that rivals other shows in the area. We believe that the combination of art and fine crafts is the most effective way to keep patrons entertained and stimulated throughout the entire show.
To achieve our goal, we showcase the best artists at Lake Antoine Park- a setting that has spacious outdoor display areas and ambience. There will be entertainment, great food, interesting demonstrations, and a silent auction. We offer cash awards for Best of Show, People’s Choice, Best New Artist, and others. We believe that this type of show best meets the needs for the participants and patrons of ART FOR ALL 2008.
DATE and PLACE: June 28, 2008, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, rain or shine (please come prepared).

APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1, 2008
JURY FEE: $5.00 (non-refundable)
DISPLAY SPACE FEE: $65.00 per space. A standard space will accommodate a 10x10 display. Upon request and for a fee, we can allocate additional space, if available. The number of entries received may limit available spaces. Electricity is available for $5.00 upon request. A parking pass is included.
CATEGORIES: Paintings (all media), Digital Imagery, Fibers, Wearable fibers, Non-wearable fibers, Furniture, Glass, Graphics/Drawings, Jewelry, Photography, Pottery, Sculpture and Woodworking.
APPLICATION INFORMATION: Each artist must submit 3 professional-quality photos of their work and 1 Booth Display photo. Your name and category must appear on each photo, with a red dot in the lower left-hand corner for proper orientation. Number the photos to correspond with the descriptions on the entry form, and place in a plastic sleeve. On the entry form, give a brief description of each photo pertaining to construction, media, method, etc. Enclose a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) for the jury’s decision letter.
REQUIREMENTS: The entrant must create 100% of all displayed work. Reproductions must be signed and numbered. Imported items, work created by any person other than the exhibiting artist, sculpture from molds, massed-produced art and jewelry, or any items deemed unsuitable by the committee will be refused. Each exhibitor must be present for the entire length of the show and is responsible for the sale of his/her work. No agents are permitted. Artist is responsible for Michigan sales tax. Prices must be clearly marked on all items. There are no commission fees owed to the organizers on any sales.
